Festivals and Events taking place in the Summer in and around Chatel
• 29 June 12 - VTT Portes du Soleil – Mountain Bike festival involving a 85kms circuit of all the resorts in the Portes du Soleil.
• 05/06 July 12 – Mountain Freestyle Competition – This attracts some of the best names in Mountain Biking.
• July 12 – Montreux Jazz Festival – only 35mins away from Chatel, a great night out by Lake Geneva.
• 14 July 12 – Bastille Day – French Independence day celebrated with a huge soiree and Firework display by Lake Vonnes.
• July 12 – Festival by the Lake Vonnes.
• 01 Aug 12 – Swiss Day – pop over to any of the local Swiss towns for some fantastic Firework displays.
• 07 Aug 12 – Festival of St Laurent – Floats cruise through Chatel and spread the Party atmosphere.
